Introduction
This is the first entry for ZackHornback to thank our family, all his friends from school and church and everyone that has been praying for him. We are seeing amazing responces from Zack in answer to these prayers. After I am through these first few days I promise to be faithful to updating his progress every day on this site. Please feel free to visit us at University Hospital 2nd floor waiting room (Zack is on the 5th floor) and pray, pray, pray. Currently we need prayer for no infection to the wound on top of his head and for the swelling of his brain to go down. See you here soon.

Mr. and Mrs. Hornback - please know that your son, as well as your entire family, remain in our thoughts and prayers. We realize that this is every parents' nightmare, but also know that God does work in and through all things for good. Also know that Hurstbourne Baptist Church and Bethany Baptist Church are continuing to pray for all of you and for a full recovery for Zack.

You don't know me, but i went to school with Zack through the 7th grade and I still see him at church and i actually saw him at the 4th of July event in Lake Forest last week, so finding out that this happened was pretty shocking for me. And i just wanted to let you know that all of you are in my prayers and both me and my family are praying for Zack every chance we get. With God in control, I know Zack can pull through this. We'll keep praying!

i have been praying everyday for zack to have a full and perfect recovery. your son was an amazing and, not to mention, hilarious person. i know god will pull him through so we can see his beautiful smile again. i love you all and will keep you in my prayers.

I'm praying for Zach everyday that he will have a good recovery. I want you to know that Zach is an awesome friend to me and always makes me laugh. God will help him to get through this and i can't wait until the funny,smiling Zach is back to us. My family is praying for him. I love you all and you are in my prayers daily.

mr. and mrs. hornback. i didnt know your son very well but i met him a couple of times and it breaks my heart to hear about this terrible accident. zach is a very sweet guy and hes very strong and i KNOW he can make it through this. i am praying for your family and zach every day and cant wait till zach returns to us.

hello mr. and mrs. hornback. my name is chelsey and i am a friend of taylor landgrave and jessica cox. i have only met zack twice but from what few times i have met him i have found him to be a very nice and caring guy. i see how nice he is around his friends andrew and taylor. i just wanted to let you know that my family is praying for him and i no all the support from everyone is going to pull him through. i no u dont no be but i just wanted to tell you that i am praying for zack.

Zack has been special to our family since he and Trey were in Mrs. Adam's kindergarten class. We are praying for him throughout everyday and we are also praying for you, Scott and Eileen. May God strengthen and encourage you as he heals Zack! Our God is so awesome - he can do more that we can imagine!

Hi zacks family its marissa. I just wanted to say that me and my family are praying for zack especially me. There are no words that I can say to you how sorry I am that this happened to zack. I have prayed my heart out everyday so that he will be ok as well as my family and our church. I love that kid soo much and hope he will get better as time goes by and I'll always be by his side giving him strength. Love you!

three years ago my brother teddy who was 17 got hit my a drunk driver he wasnt as lucky as zack he died right away if he lived he would of been paralyzed and disabled it was too late to pray for him as you can hear but that doesnt me i havent stopped praying and i think teddys praying to! From the clouds where he with our mom.

Mr and Mrs. Hornback , i only met zach a couple times with a group of ppl and i really enjoyed his company ! Zach is an all around great guy. I hope the family is doing well and everyone is pulling through. I have prayed for zach every night along with my family! We have been keeping intouch with the updates and hope Zach is doing well . Mr. and Mrs. Hornback its Lynn, im not really close to zack but i have given him rides from games to BW3s and we say hi in the hallway and Mrs. Hornback i kno you just from sitting at baseball games, but i just wana let you know that i have been prayin for you and zack and i wana thank you for the sweatshirt peace i hung it from my rearview mirror, seeing what has happened to zack has not only helped me in my life but it also affects how i am goin to parent my children someday and make me think twice when it comes to making some decisions for them.... Dear The Hornback Family,
I don't know your soon but I pray everyday that he has a quick and great recovery. I have friends of his and I hope to meet Zack as soon as he is able. Zack I want you to know even though we have never meet when I found out about the accident and I started reading all of these comments.. I felt like we were the best of friends. I hope one day in the future you will be back to your normal self and we will finally meet.
